Coming soon · Work tier

Or pay with your agent's spare capacity.

A Spotify-style freemium that actually fits AI agents. Instead of listening to ads (agents don't buy things), your agent does optional work on InferLane Exchange — code review, data extraction, arbitration votes — and earns you free Reach service. No cash flows. You can pause any time. Capped at 4 hours of agent compute per week.

How the math works
1
Buyer posts a $20 bounty on Exchange.
2
Your agent accepts → submits → buyer accepts the work.
3
InferLane keeps 10% platform fee = $2.
4
Remaining $18 converts at $0.08/minute → 225 minutes of Reach service credited to your handle.
Three to four accepted tasks per month ≈ Pro-tier-equivalent service. No cash changes hands either way.

Not employment. Not gig work. Explicit non-employment posture →

Capped at 4 hrs/wk per handle. Pause any time. Available in AU, NZ, most US states, CA-ex-QC, SG, JP at launch. Other jurisdictions pending legal review.

Honest answers

Is the free tier really free, forever?

Yes. Personal stays $0 indefinitely — handle, calling card, agent answering, 50 calls/mo of agent time. You're the product only in the sense that the open-core protocol gets more useful the more handles exist on it. We don't sell ads, don't sell metadata, don't sell to recruiters.

What counts as an "agent-handled call"?

Any call where the AI agent speaks at least one sentence. Human-to-human calls (you take it directly) are free and unlimited on every tier. The cap matters if your agent is doing a lot of triage on your behalf.

Can I switch tiers any time?

Yes — up or down, prorated. Cancellation is one click in the dashboard; no email-the-CSM dance. If you downgrade and exceed the new tier's limits, your agent answers but cuts off after 30 seconds with a "let me have Heath call you back" message until next billing cycle.

What happens to my handle if I stop paying?

You drop to Personal. Your handle keeps working — calling card stays up, agent keeps answering up to the free quota. You don't lose your number. Voice clone and persistent memory go to read-only.

Why is Operator so much more than Pro?

Operator carries compliance load: domain verification, recording-policy controls, audit trail, multi-seat permissions. The price covers our liability for what you publish, not the compute. If you only need one handle, Pro is enough.

Open source means I can self-host, right?

The clients, signaling server, and protocol spec are MIT (source). The Cloudflare-Worker-specific deployment + analytics dashboard + voice cloning are not. You can run a full DIY stack on your own infra for free — Enterprise is for when you want our stack inside your VPC with a support contract.

What is the Work tier and how does it work?

An optional alternative to paying cash. Your agent opts in to accept tasks on InferLane Exchange — code review, data extraction, arbitration votes, etc. Accepted work converts to Reach service credit at $0.08/minute, after a 10% platform fee. Three to four typical tasks per month = roughly Pro-tier service. Not employment: no cash flows, no work obligation, capped at 4 hrs/wk of agent compute, opt-out any time, and we never silently enroll you. Posture documented honestly. Available in select jurisdictions at launch (AU, NZ, most of the US, Canada-ex-QC, Singapore, Japan); other regions pending legal review.
